ASSP Kuwait Chapter had a fruitful and eventful meeting on 3rd January 2023 with KNPC CEO along with DCEO Support services at KNPC HQ. The meeting kicked off with introduction made by Eng Fadhel Al Ali, Chairman ASSP Kuwait Chapter where he introduced ASSP Delegates comprising Eng Faris Al Mansouri, Director, Director, PDC 2023
, Eng Bader Al Hadrami, Hon secretary Govt affairs, ASSP Kuwait Chapter, Eng Ahmed Esmael, Mentor PDC 2023, Eng Vasudevan , Region IX vice president Area 1 , ASSP USA, Eng Jignesh Shah, Dy Director, PDC 2023 & Rishi D Jayan, Sr Executive , ASSP Kuwait Chapter. Eng jignesh briefed about the ASSP HQ structure and activities of ASSP Kuwait Chapter in the region. He then briefed on the status and the overall program of PDC 2023 which is scheduled on 10th & 11th May 2023 at Regency Hotel, Kuwait. A video capsule was screened on the glimpses on past conference and exhibition. During the open discussion couple of recommendations were put forth by KNPC CEO & DCEO KNPC , following was the summary.
1. Include Round table discussion on the challenges of downstream faced like KNPC and to invite international experts for this program.
2. Structured HSE trainings for HSE Employees and non HSE personals of KNPC
3. Apart from conference , to conduct exclusive quarterly meetings or summit to address the challenges of KNPC facing in operations and KNPC will support financially.
4. Connect KNPC experts to ASSP community of ASSP HQ where there will be an interaction with global experts. challenges faced by downstream companies.
5. Form an exclusive task force / committee under ASSP KC including expert’s from KNPC and ASSP KC committee to provide innovative technical solutions to the challenges of KNPC as part of supporting companies.
6. Finally KNPC CEO agreed to support PDC 2023 as requested by ASSP Kuwait Chapter in terms of sending delegates for the conference and workshops.
