He conducts training on numerous safety and health topics, including exam prep courses for ASP, CSP, and CHST. John earned a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Management from Northern Illinois University. He also earned CSP, CHST, OHST, CIT, and CET

Learning Objectives:

Include accident investigation purpose and planning; investigation team roles and responsibilities; preparing an investigation kit; investigative process; preserving and documenting the scene; accident analysis techniques; developing the event sequence; root cause analysis; causation models; Fishbone diagrams; organizational factors; accident reconstruction; witness accounts and interviewing techniques; incident records; developing accident investigation reports; legal aspects; and implementing appropriate follow-up actions.
Students must pass a written exam and a practical exam in order to pass the course and earn authorization. Contact Hours: 8.
